But there are always a few wild colors that we can never seem to get our hands on and that is exactly why makeup artist Doe Deere of the label Lime Crime created the Candyfuture collection, a range of rich, highly pigmented lipsticks in offbeat colors. The line ranges from the more wearable Centrifuchsia (hot pink) and Retrofuturist (red) and dips to theatrical shades like No She Didn’t (blue) and Styletto (black). The formula is sleek, smooth, and long-lasting — we didn’t wear any of the crazy shades out in public, but in the privacy of our own home, it lasted through a meal and countless cans of Diet Coke. Since the sheen factor is low, throw a gloss over it for high-drama lips, just how we like them. While the pink unicorn packaging is a bit juvenile, the delicious, bold colors on the inside almost makes it irrelevant.
